A social quiz will take place at the University of Chester in the new year.
The January event will act as a review of the year just passed with questions focused on 2024. Entitled “Lily’s Pad Big Fat Quiz of the Year”, the retrospective event is taking place at U of C’s main campus venue “The Bar”.
Located at Exton Park, The Bar is in easy walking distance of many student rentals in Chester. In November 2024, the Student Union venue was the focus of a competition to give it a new name. The creator of the winning name will win a £50 food and drink voucher they can use at the bar.
Prizes will also be waiting to be won at the upcoming quiz at The Bar. The event will be hosted by Student Union President Lily Watson who has led monthly “Lily’s Pad” social activities like the quiz throughout her term.
Studying a BA in acting at Chester University, Watson will complete her studies in 2025, graduating in November. As CSU President, her priorities have been safer streets for students, academic support for student wellbeing and career networking to help them get working after they achieve their degree.
The Lily’s Pad Big Fat Quiz of the Year will be held on January 7 at The Bar. The venue is based at the heart of Chester University, Exton Park, and the quiz will kick off at 7.30 pm. Students are not required to book to get involved.
