
Students in Chester with a passion for painting and socialising can attend an upcoming art night at the North Light Bar in the new year.
The welcoming venue is hosting a “Paint Away” event called “Starry, Starry Night – Paint Van Gogh” in January and is inviting artists of all skill levels to join in. Based in Northgate, the bar and grill is in easy reach of Chester student lets, making it an excellent option for an evening out in the city for those at the university.
No previous painting experience is essential to participate as a canvas is supplied with a pre-drawn design to complete. The instructor-led event will take guests on a simple step-by-step journey to produce their own creation based on the Dutch painter’s post-impressionist masterpiece.
The paint party provides all the crucial equipment required including paint, brushes, painting palettes and aprons to protect clothing. The North Light Bar has an extensive menu for both food and drink, from which artists can order separately to appreciate during the experience.
The Starry, Starry Night – Paint Van Gogh event will be held at the North Light Bar on Friday, January 10. The venue is located at 41 Northgate Street in Chester, and the art session will start at 7 pm and end at 9 pm.
Those wishing to take part and release their inner artist are asked to arrive 10 minutes before the event begins so that organisers have time to allocate them a seat.
