Chester residents can now experience a different sort of venue with the opening of the Rooftop Social Club on the top two floors of the multi-storey car park on Pepper Street.

The venue has been extensively refurbished to provide capacity for up to 300 guests. There is a bar with full service and four permanent kitchens operated by Chester Zoo, The Fat Greek, Death by Tacos and Enzo’s Pizza. The venue is designed for year-round use, with there being heated chalets and cabanas and a fully retractable roof. What’s more, despite its lofty location, it’s fully accessible.

The Rooftop Social Club will be open from 12pm to 10pm every day. It hopes to offer constantly fresh experiences with seasonal pop-up events, and visitors of various ages will find something to do among the activities on offer.

iKO Projects founder Ian Gordon expressed his delight at bringing this one-of-a-kind venue to Chester, adding:

“Rooftop Social Club is a real passion project for us and has been designed to offer a distinctive and welcoming environment where guests can enjoy excellent food, exceptional drinks and a relaxed atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming the community to experience all that this venue has to offer.”

Chester’s vibrant social scene is a great benefit for those who come to study in Chester. You can also find student accommodation close to Chester city centre, so you can enjoy everything the city has to offer while still being close to your study locations.
