Students dedicated to a plant-based lifestyle will rejoice to hear that Chester Vegan Market will make a welcome return to the city this winter.
Held only twice a year in the city, the rare event is considered unmissable by people who respect the environment and lives and wellbeing of animals on the earth.
The market dates to 2019 when it was first established. February will find it set up in its home from home in Chester at the Town Hall Square, just four minutes away from the university’s main campus on Parkgate Road. There will be a vast selection of speciality vegan vendors serving food, making it an excellent location for lunch on the day.
Those attending can expect to find artisan bakers, craft brewers and experts in vegan cuisine selling dishes both savoury and sweet, hot and cold. Undergraduates and graduates with a passion for artisan delights often choose bills included student accommodation in Chester to make it easier to budget for food.
Those in the market for a gift for a friend or a design feature for their student housing in Chester will also find local artists, sustainable chandlers and ethical jewellers selling wares on the day, alongside green charities and champions of zero-waste living.
The Chester Vegan Market will be at the Town Hall Square on Sunday, February 23. The market is fully accessible and will start at 10.30 am before closing at 4 pm. The market is completely free for anyone to attend.
