University of Chester students with a passion for football, and Liverpool FC in particular, are in luck this March.
The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chester is set to present an evening with famous former Liverpool players and is inviting football fans from across the city to attend. Close to student accommodation in Chester city centre, the hotel event is ideal for those at the university with a love for the Reds, or simply the history of football.
The upcoming experience at the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG) accommodator will feature four winners of the European Cup, with the Liverpool legends being from the celebrated team that took on Italy’s Roma in 1984 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Event organisers have confirmed that Sammy Lee, Alan Kennedy, Ronnie Whelan and Gary Gillespie will all be on stage to share stories and insights on their historic triumph in Europe.
Depending on the ticket type they purchase, Liverpool FC fans in Chester attending the event will also get opportunities for autographs and can have their photo taken with the players, and a replica of the European Cup trophy.
While Silver tickets are for the show only, they still offer an up-close encounter with the Liverpool legends. Gold tickets include a pre-show photograph with the players and Platinum tickets add extra value with an autograph session before the live event begins.
The “Evening with the Liverpool Legends” event will take place at the Crowne Plaza Chester IHG Hotel on Saturday, March 22. The hotel is situated on Trinity Street in Chester, and the dress code for the evening is smart casual.
