Undergraduates and postgraduates alike in Chester can now enjoy affordable cocktails on their doorstep.
An 18-minute stroll from the university’s main campus and student lets in Chester, the Be At One cocktail bar is based on Watergate Street and is celebrated for its mixed drinks menu.
While many pubs and bars in the city offer students limited drinks deals, the popular watering hole offers students cocktails for just £6 every day, all day. To access the discounted drinks, all students need to do is download the MiXR App and present their valid ID.
Low-priced cocktails aren’t the only offers on at the bar for students. Seven days a week, students can also enjoy 50% off house spirits and mixers, and those who sign up to the Be At One newsletter will get a voucher for birthday drinks in the form of a “Raspberry Beret” sharer to enjoy with mates.
For budding mixologists at the University of Chester, the bar also presents cocktail masterclasses where tools of the trade, spirits and a stunning soundtrack are all provided as part of the package.
Ideal of a big night out in town, Be At One is open from 4.30 pm to 1 pm as standard and for longer on Friday (4 pm to 2 am), Saturday (12 pm to 3 am) and Sunday (4 pm to 1 am). On top of the special student discounts, a happy hour also runs regularly at the bar from opening time until 9 pm.
