Storyhouse in Chester recently announced that it has booked a return visit from a successful show called “Broadway Rave”.

A must-see spectacle for fans of drama, music and theatre, the event’s organisers are promising a night to remember. Close to accommodation near Chester University and offering discounted entertainment through its “Young Storyhouse” memberships (free for people aged 16 to 25), the city arts centre has a sizeable student audience.

Now, the city arts hub that boasts a library, cinema, theatre and free coffee for students is welcoming back the popular production that features performers who graced the stage in the highly praised “Hamilton” musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Ideal for budding actresses and actors at Chester University’s Kingsway campus and musical theatre geeks and drama nerds who like to party, the epic event pays tribute to the best hits on New York’s famous Broadway. Designed for dancing, the production creates a club atmosphere filled with unforgettable numbers performed by a talented cast.

Broadway Rave will now take centre stage at Storyhouse on Saturday, August 23. The event is approximately three and a half hours long, and is only open to those who are aged 18 and over. The venue is simple to find on Hunter Street near the Chester University building, Gateway House, where creative writing and journalism studies are taught.

The show will start at 8 pm and tickets are now available to purchase for £8.83. All attending are encouraged to come costumed as their favourite West End or Broadway show character.
