Graduates and undergraduates who are tired of waking up in their student housing in Chester hung over are in luck this season. The Moxy Hotel has announced it is hosting a special festive instalment of its popular “Club Soba” event, and is welcoming all to attend.
Like its regular editions, Club Soba Christmas is designed for partygoers who prefer not to drink, but still want to socialise in a nightclub atmosphere. Offering an alternative to standard nights out in the city, the alcohol-free evening gathering allows people to meet and connect while engaging in exciting and original activities.
While the nightclub boasts an expert DJ and a dancefloor where revellers can hear house and disco, other features include live performances from local Chester talent and mocktail (no-alcohol cocktail) masterclasses led by the Moxy’s top mixologists.
Launched in 2023, the club has proved to be popular with a wide range of people in Chester from students and tourists to those born and raised in the city. It’s considered an ideal option for those taking time out from alcohol, pursuing a healthier lifestyle or just sick of experiencing hangovers.
The Club Soba Christmas party will now take place at the Moxy Chester tomorrow night, December 12. The event kicks off at 8 pm and runs until midnight. The hotel can be found at 71 Broughton Street in the city centre, by the Shropshire Union Canal.
The price of attending the Christmas party is £20 per person.
