Chester University students partial to a pint are in luck towards the end of January.
City arts hub Storyhouse has announced it will be welcoming the 2025 edition of the Chester Craft Beer Expo for two days in its impeccable Garrett Bar and Theatre.
Just a walk away from shared student housing around Chester, the celebrated venue is situated on Hunter Street. The weekend expo will gather fans and creators of beer under one roof and will feature some of the best breweries in Britain, along with a European brand as special guest.
Brewers will be sharing classic pours, limited edition releases and brand-new experimental flavours. There will also be interactive sessions where expo guests can meet brewers and discover the tales behind the ales while enjoying question and answer events at the “Speakers’ Corner”. Special food pairings will be on hand to sample, with beer-friendly bites prepared by “The Kitchen” whose team handle Storyhouse’s catering.
Students buying a ticket for the upcoming event will find the price of admission also includes an original commemorative glass, along with an exclusive beer that has been brewed and canned to take home and savour.
The Chester Craft Beer Expo 2025 will now be at Storyhouse on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25. The event is open to all aged 18 and over.
There will be two sessions on each day of the expo. The afternoon option runs from 1 pm to 5 pm, and the evening session starts at 6 pm and ends at 10 pm.
